India announced their 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, with Jasprit Bumrah, the pacer, making his return from injury.

Ravindra Jadeja, an all-arounder, was absent from the team due to an injury he acquired at the Asia Cup.
After missing out on the Asia Cup with a side strain Harshal Patel also returned to the side, along with Bumrah.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Arshdeep Singh are the other two pacers in the squad, along with Hardik Pandya the all-rounder.
The batting order follows the expected patterns with captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Suryakumar Yadav, and Dinesh Karthik all included.
Axar Patel, R Ashwin, and Yuzvendra Chahal are the specialist spinners, with the latter ostensibly replacing Jadeja in the squad.
Mohammad Shami, the gun pacer, has been named as a standby player for T20 World Cup 2022, along with comparable pacer Deepak Chahar, batter Shreyas Iyer and leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi.
India will host Australia for a three-match T20I series before the premier tournament, which will be followed by a T20I and ODI series against South Africa.
The squad for the ODIs against South Africa is not announced yet.
